I use this extension because for some reason the youtube timestamp chapters arent showing up on some videos I watch, which is really annoying. I think this extension is a great substitute. The title of the chapter shows up and you can even skip to the next chapter which is awesome. The only thing I dont like is the yellow lines, they are a bit confusing to me, why cant it just be in sections like in the real youtube chapters feature?
