👍 Mach 2019: new option to store highlights using chrome.storage.sync instead of Google Bookmarks
- March 23, 2018: Annotations are compressed to fit more in case you highlight long passages.
Yawas lets you highlight web pages and PDF documents in multiple colors.
(Note: you can deactivate the PDF reader in the options)
Your highlights are stored inside your bookmarks in Google.
When you revisit pages or PDF documents, Yawas recreates your previous highlights.
All functions are available from the context-menu.
To highlight, simply select some text and choose the color from the context menu.
To recolor or delete a highlight, select some of its text and choose another color or "Delete" from the context-menu.
You can also quickly access all your bookmarks with "Yawas - Search" or edit the current page's bookmark (including its labels/tags) with "Yawas - Edit".
All options are also available through keyboard shortcuts. (e.g. Ctrl-Shift-Y for Yellow and Ctrl-Shift-D to Delete).
