I have the Yahoo Wider Mail and Yahoo Search Extensions installed and turned on in Google Chrome. Those extensions have given me the "Wider Email" view in Yahoo Mail for a decade years, until December 2022, at the cost of having Yahoo as my browser's default search engine. Since January 2023, any attempt to hide the advertising pane on the right side of the screen will prompt me to subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus at $5/month, with a free trial. I'm 100% Satisfied with Yahoo (800)760-1284 customer service received from the Philippines Call Center. The Yahoo agent was very polite and very knowledgeable, she tried all possible solutions to resolve Yahoo Mail - Wider Mail Extension for both browsers: Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. She escalated this ongoing issue with Yahoo's upper management. I have had Yahoo Mail since 2000 and I have been using Wider mail for decades.
