The simplest way to keep track of work. Use Xout to quickly create tasks and get stuff done.
As a one person team, you have a lot of things to do. Yet most of us have terrible organization systems: jot notes on random papers, the newest apps, documents in Evernote, Google Docs, or Notepad. Organizational programs like Trello, Slack, or Wonderlist can help, but they can also be overly complicated. And they’re for teams.
Xout is not for teams. It’s for you.
It allows you to simply and quickly create tasks, track progress, stay organized, and get to work.
Research shows that the more often you see what needs to be accomplished, the more likely you are to get it done. Xout integrates with Chrome so that every time you open a new tab, your task list is the first thing you see. It’s a subtle reminder that you have stuff to do every time you’re tempted to click away from your work.
So stop using notepads, web apps, sticky notes, random scraps of paper, and electronic documents to create a disorganized cluster of lists. Just organize everything in Xout and be more productive than you've ever been.
WHO’S IT FOR?
Freelancers. Busy people. People who value simplicity over bells and whistles. People who like to get things done without a lot of fanfare. Designers. Coders. Bloggers. Copywriters. You.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply. That’s the whole point. When you have things to do, you need to check them off so you can get on with your day.
1. Add the task by typing it into the “Create a Task” box
2. Add a hashtag to label it for sorting (if you need to)
3. Select the date for when it needs to show up on your list
4. Prioritize the top three things you need to accomplish today
5. Get to work!
Xout uses a simple three-step click process to track tasks. When you add a new task, you’ll see a circle next to it.
Click once to record progress on task.
Click a second time to record the task as complete.
DRAG AND DROP PRIORITIZATION
Quickly and easily reorganize tasks by dragging and dropping them in the order you want them to appear.
Prioritize your three most important tasks each day by moving them to the “Focus List.” Want the list to reset each night? Click the option in the settings menu to make that happen.
Add a hashtag to each task for easy sorting. All hashtags are automatically added across the top of your tab. Click one to see all tasks associated with that hashtag.
Accidentally marked a task as complete or deleted it? Find it in the archive and restore it to your list with a single click.
View weekly and daily graphs of completed tasks to see how much you’ve accomplished.
Every time you complete a task, you’ll see an encouraging, funny, or inspiring phrase in the bottom right hand corner to motivate your continued progress.
