Make any webpage editable, but changes are not permanent.
Very fun extension, can be used to edit any webpage!! Just press F7 on any webpage, and edit text and delete things like photos, and embed elements. You can even delete a YouTube video off a page! Once you've had your fun, just press F2 to turn off edit mode, for a convincing looking defaced webpage.
*Note: changes are not permanent, once you refresh, they will go away. Trick anybody into thinking you're a hacker!
WebEdit is running all the time, so whenever you want to start, just hit F7.
Update (almost 2 years later.) Kind of forgot about this extension. Saw it today, felt kind of nostalgic, added an options page to map the function keys. The CSS sure ain't pretty, but hey I'm a programmer, not a designer ;D. Edit key is now mapped to F7 by default, and disable is still mapped to F2. To get to options go to Wrench>Tools>Extensions, then click on 'Options' on the WebEdit extension.
Another update, WebEdit now supports "ftp://" pages!
Got some screenshots up, it is highlighting using the bold (CTRL+B)
MAJOR UPDATE, CAN NOW EDIT HTTPS:// WEBPAGES. All of them except for https://www.chrome.google.com. All other websites, such as PayPal, or Edline can now be edited with WebEdit!!!
