Ülevaade

Graphical Analysis™ is a tool for science students to collect, graph, and analyze data from Vernier sensors.

New in this release: • Support for Go Direct Wide Range Temperature • Support for Go Direct Surface Temperature • Support for Go Direct Acceleration • Support for Go Direct Rotary Motion Sensor • Support for Go Direct Respiration Belt • Support for Go Direct Current Probe • Support for EKG Sensor • Support for Spirometer • Support for Hand-Grip Heart Rate Monitor when used with the Heart Rate Receiver Fixed in this release: • Meters for Heart Rate Monitor no longer show NAN when waiting for data • Meters now display correctly when using a location with comma separated values • Values pasted into data tables function normally in graphing and calculated columns • Calibration values are no longer truncated for Go Direct sensors Graphical Analysis™ offers • Direct data collection from over 50 sensors using Vernier LabQuest, LabQuest 2, LabQuest Mini, (new) LabQuest Stream, and Vernier Go!Link® USB interfaces • Direct data collection from Vernier Go Direct™, Go!Temp®, and Go!Motion® sensors • Time-based, Events with Entry, and Selected Event data collection modes • Calculated columns • Calibrate sensors with two-point calibrations • Zero or Reverse sensor readings • Support for additional sensors including Vernier Colorimeter. • Configurable data collection rate and duration for time-based data collection. • Support for high-speed data collection when using a LabQuest interface. • Optional triggering of time-based data collection based on sensor value. • Manual entry of data from keyboard and clipboard. • Shared data collection using Vernier’s Connected Science System®—use LabQuest® 2 or a computer running Logger Pro® software as a source of data for Graphical Analysis, for data collection from any of over 80 compatible Vernier sensors. • .ambl file format for exchange with Graphical Analysis 4 on macOS, Windows, and other Chromebooks • Data analysis features such as curve fits and statistics • Graph match feature for use with Motion Detector • Draw predictions on graphs • Graph annotations • Change display units on supported sensors • Localization for German, Spanish, French and Russian Sensor data collection with Graphical Analysis requires the purchase of hardware from Vernier Software & Technology; manual entry of data can be performed without a hardware purchase. Data collection with Graphical Analysis can be performed with a compatible Vernier interface and compatible sensor, Vernier Go!Temp, Vernier Go!Motion, or with Vernier Data Sharing Sources via Wi-Fi. Students then use Graphical Analysis to create graphs, modify scaling, make selections, create annotations and captions, and perform analysis with statistics and curve fits. Supported USB devices for data collection • Vernier Go!Temp temperature sensor • Vernier Go!Motion motion detector • Vernier Go!Link interface • Vernier LabQuest, LabQuest 2, LabQuest Stream, and LabQuest Mini interfaces • Support for additional sensors and data collection modes will be added soon Supported Data Sharing sources • Vernier LabQuest 2 interface • Vernier Logger Pro 3 software running on Windows or Macintosh Lab group data-collection features (when used with LabQuest 2 or Logger Pro) • Connect multiple students to a single source via wireless Data Sharing. • Collect data from multiple sensors simultaneously. • Remote start/stop of data collection. • Over 80 compatible sensors. • Display sensor data as graphs or in a table. For more information on the Connected Science System, visit: http://www.vernier.com/css Students can export data and graphs to create a lab report or send their finished work to the instructor. Students can export graphs and data to Google Drive. A direct export from Graphical Analysis to the Plotly™ graphing service allows students to do further analysis and graphing. Key features • Display 1, 2, or 3 graphs • Access data table with row-by-row entry and multiple columns • Auto-save data, graphs, annotations, statistics, and curve fits • Examine and select data • Perform curve fits, including linear, quadratic, natural exponent, and more • Create text annotations • Create graph titles • Export graphs and data • Connect multiple student devices to a single data source via wireless networking • Collect data from multiple sensors simultaneously • Start/stop data collection remotely • Use with over 80 compatible Vernier sensors • Display sensor data as graphs or in a table Vernier Software & Technology has over 35 years of experience in providing effective learning resources for understanding experimental data in science and math classrooms. Graphical Analysis is a part of Vernier’s extensive system of sensors, interfaces, and data-collection software for science and STEM education.
