Moves tabs so they are always sorted in most recently used (MRU) order, from left to right within each window.
This extension simply moves the current tab to the left-most position in the tab list of the current window. The result is that the most recently used tabs are always on the left of the tab list. In this way when you use the control-tab key combination to browse through your tabs they will be accessed in most recently used (MRU) order instead of linearly. This is the way windows are accessed in Mac, Windows and Linux using the alt-tab or command-tab key combinations.
Version 0.1: Minor update to the manifest file so the icons show.
Version 0.2: Added options page to make move delay configurable. Changed default delay to 1 second. Delay can be set to any fractional number of seconds.
June 18, 2011: Sorry for being unresponsive. Most of what people are asking for is not possible with the current Chrome extension API. For this reason I long ago gave up on Chrome and switched back to Firefox. I periodically check the API and other extensions to see if anything has changed. Nothing so far. The source code the for the extension is available in the extension file if you unzip it. Feel free to modify and republish as you wish. Thank you.
