Street Fighter II is a fighting game, from Nintendo a classsic arcade game.
Street Fighter
Street Fighter is a series of fighting video arcade games created by the Japanese company Capcom. The first title, Street Fighter, appeared in the year 1987 in Arcade and enjoyed a certain popularity, but it was its continuation, Street Fighter II, that provoked a true revolution and caused the boom of the games of fight in recreational halls. Home versions were released for consoles all over the world and sales were millionaire. There were several versions of this second chapter, followed by new chapters, crossover with franchise characters like Marvel Comics or SNK Playmore, movies, TV series and all kinds of merchandising. The Street Fighter series is still active today.
Characteristics
These arcade games are all one-on-one, although there are games like X-Men Vs. Street Fighter and Street Fighter X Tekken, whose matches are two against two (but not simultaneous), as well as games in which they fight two against one simultaneously as in Street Fighter Alpha.
Also, it is fundamental to realize "Combos", definition that is given to the succession of several consecutive blows to the rival without possibility that this one can be defended.
Characters
While Ryu and Ken have appeared without exception in all major arcade games, the original Street Fighter II template is considered the main characters in the series:
Ryu, Ken, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Chun-Li, Zangief, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison
The story of Street Fighter takes place over several years. But the order of launching of the games was not on par with that timeline, since from one game to another, the characters appeared much younger or disappeared others. This was because each arcade game is located at a different stage. In argumentative matters, the chronological order of the Games of Street Fighter is the following one:
Street Fighter 1, Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5
