Makes a vertical split by productively moving the tab to the side, instead of using frames.
This extension makes a vertical split for vieing two tabs at once. It's accomplished by resizing your current window, and putting the current tab to the right of it.
Also, if you did not move the main window, when you close or drag the new window back in, it returns it the the normal size. Pretty slick!
There are other screen splitting extension that put your tabs on two frames on one page. But, alas, they have to reload the two pages you were on. With Split Meister V, you can start watching a video, and then split it, and multi-task whilst you watch it.
Does not work as expected on full screen: There is no way to even detect, or control the the full screen state of a window in chrome yet.
Thanks for my roommate, Jason, for sponsoring split Meister (paying the $5 to publish chrome extensions)
If you want to find similar extensions do a search for "split window"(without quotes).
