This extension is a SiteBar.org Client.

Chrome integration for all those who manage their favorites with a SiteBar - Bookmark Server (https://github.com/brablc/sitebar). :: SiteBar :: The Online Bookmark Manager | The Bookmark Server SiteBar is a solution for people who use multiple browsers or computers and want to have their bookmarks available from anywhere without having to synchronize them or take them with them. The bookmarks are stored on a server - which can be - a SiteBar server operated by sitebar.org - another public server on which our SiteBar software is running - your own server running our free SiteBar software The bookmarks can be displayed/changed in almost any standard-compliant browser.

Works perfect on my selfhosted SB instance. Just go into setting of the extension and choose your details.
