A patch for the Tyler SIS login page that conceals the username field like a password.
SISpatch is a lightweight Chrome extension made for the Tyler SIS 360 login page that automatically conceals your username on the site like it would a password. SISpatch cannot collect or store your data.
Usernames in SIS often contain sensitive information. For instance, in my organization, a member's SIS username is connected to the password for other services they use. Without SISpatch, gaining access to someone's SIS username is as easy as looking over their shoulder and reading their unprotected username while they log in. Then they have virtually unlimited access to several of that member's accounts.
SISpatch helps prevent this so-called "shoulder-surfing" with a small "patch" applied to the Tyler SIS login page that makes what you type into the username field look like a password. It does this seamlessly and doesn't affect any of the rest of SIS, so you can use SISpatch without having to worry about any configuring or finicky toggling.
Just install SISpatch -- and that's it. No buttons, no notifications, no extra menus. Simply set it and forget it, and SISpatch will take care of the rest.
SISpatch cannot collect or store your data.
