Overview

Enable or disable JavaScript on a site-by-site basis.

Simple JavaScript Toggle adds a button which allows you to control if JavaScript should be allowed to run on the current site or not. Chrome has built-in support for allowing you to configure which sites should be allowed to run JavaScript. You do this on the Chrome settings page, and it works really well for permanently blocking or allowing a site. If you find that you regularly need to change whether to allow or block JavaScript on a site, using the settings page gets impractical. That's where this extension comes in. By clicking on a button in the toolbar, JavaScript is either enabled or disabled for the current site whereupon the page is reloaded.

Sure, u can click on 'site settings' and disable JS on the site, but u often don't want to do that. And it's a hassle. This extension is quick and dirty. Works just on the page u are on. Not remembered - no permanent change to ur settings. Reloads page instantly. Great for when u click a link to an unfamiliar site and the page is taking ages to load bc of all the trashy scripts. Or u just want to see what a page wd look like in 'mobile' vsn. Rating: surprisingly useful.

Yes, the icon *does actually* indicate whether the page is javascript blocked; also Chrome itself indicates in the address bar when a page is blocked, so the icon's indicator is redundant.
