Improvements and Enhancements in this Release
This release, 2.25.0, includes a number of bug fixes in addition to one significant new feature. The new feature is the support for changing the default font-face for an EPUB. At this time, one of three different non-default (i.e. the “body” font specified by the publisher of the book) fonts can be chosen:
Open Dyslexic (a font that helps reading comprehension for some readers with dyslexia. Please see http://opendyslexic.org/)
Open Sans - a sans-serif font that is very readable
Noto Serif - an “old-style” font similar to fonts used in older books in the 20th century
In addition, there are two minor additions::
An extraneous button “Add Book to Library” was removed from the “Add Book” dialog since in practice the button could never be pressed
Added support for the .epub3 file extension. Previously, only books with the .epub extension could be added to the library
Finally, there are some minor and not so minor bug fixes, including support for full-screen HTML5 video. Also, we improved the handling of page-refresh events. The previous implementation would sometimes case the page count for a chapter to be incorrect, which led to the last page (or two) being left off.
