Solve puzzles to stop procrastinating on time-wasting websites.
PuzzleBlocker is a browser extension that helps you spend less time procrastinating and more time being focused. To unlock time-wasting websites – like Facebook, Instagram or Reddit – you have to solve Tangram puzzles. Solving puzzles takes time and will make your brain think procrastination is actually hard work. At best, you will close the tab and keep working. At worst, you have "earned" the reward of procrastinating for a couple of minutes. I like the extension. Perhaps it would be nice to have more puzzle types. I think more configuration options would also be great, e.g. being able to set how many minutes per day I can spend on some website before it becomes locked.

Cool idea. I like the little puzzles (guess I should watch out for liking them too much ;-) Definitely worth a try if you need that little nudge to change your time wasting habits.

This application helped me a lot! Thank you so much, great idea :DD During my work on the computer I often got this habit of switching to youtube or instagram just for a sec, and after half an hour or longer on social media I get back to work, completly lost. So this funny puzzle barier helps me a lot not loosing my focus, because during solving the puzzle I get aware of my automated behaviour of swithcing to social media and I get back in my focus
