Hold <space> in Google Meet to talk instead of fumbling around trying to mute and unmute
Push to Talk for Google Meet.
Press down and hold onto the <space> in Google Meet to talk, this extension is similar to having a walkie talkie.
Once you have finished speaking, just let go of the <space bar> and you'll be automatically on Mute.
The main benefit of this extension is you automatically mute yourself after speaking and do not have to keep pressing the mute/unmute button using the mouse. You can unmute yourself using the keyboard instead.
If you do not wish to use the space bar as the hotkey, you can configure your own hotkey instead.
This extension works only for Google Meet and not for Google Hangouts.
