Privacy for Noobs
Imagine you're sitting at -insert popular coffee shop here- enjoying free, public WiFi. Feels good, doesn't it? Well, better watch out! The person sitting next to you (or, virtually anybody near the shop) could potentially get access to your -insert popular social network- account and access all your private messages and photos. That's because some websites don't transmit your data securely using a technology called "HTTPS". Instead, they're using the insecure version called "HTTP".
PrivaSee helps you keep yourself and your data safe in public networks by blocking all insecure connections - you'll be surprised how often that is actually the case!
** How To Use It:
Whenever you want to browse safely (e.g. in the public wifi of a hotel or restaurant), click the red cross at the upper right in your browser (which says "Toggle Safe-Mode"). The cross will turn into a green check, which means all insecure connections are being blocked. Now you're safe to start browsing!
