Toggle synced Picture in Picture content on YouTube with the click of a button.
What if you could toggle a sign language interpretation as easily as enabling subtitles? With PiP Sync, you can do just that!
* NEW in Version 1.0.1 *
Bug fixes and other optimizations.
* How It Works *
Video creators and companies who wish to add deaf and hard of hearing accessibility to their videos commission an interpretation via pipsync.org. Once the interpretation is complete, we registered the videos in our extensions database, allowing anyone who uses the extension to toggle the interpretation with the click of a button.
* How to Get It *
Install the extension into your Chrome browser. Once installed, click on the PiP icon in the top right to sign up for an account (we have users register an email with us so that we can more effectively protect our database, as well as add additional features down the road); this will take you to a sign up page. Enter a user name and password, and hit enter. Congrats! You're now signed up! If you've already signed up, click the sign in button instead, and after you enter your credentials, you'll be all set to start watching PiP Sync enabled content.
* Which Videos? *
PiP Sync is only enabled for content that has been commissioned through our organization. If there are videos that you wish to have interpreted, refer them to us at pipsync.org and we can work together to get the video/s interpreted and registered in our database. As soon as the video is finished and linked to our extension, it will become available for all users.
