Getting Started
Make sure that you have the Pieces OS and Pieces Desktop apps installed from our site at code.pieces.app/install.
(Pieces OS is the helper service that enables Pieces to function locally on your machine without connecting to the internet for privacy purposes and manages connections to Pieces integrations.)
How to Save Snippets
Three ways to save snippets using Pieces for Chrome:
- Using Keyboard Shortcuts
- MacOS: ⌘⌥P
- Windows: ALT + Shift + P
- Right-Click
- Highlight some code, right-click, select “Save to Pieces”
- Clicking Save Button
- A Pieces Save button will automatically appear on compatible snippets on the webpage. Try it out on sites like Medium, StackOverflow or Dev.to.
