Replace your new tab page with a personal dashboard featuring a random business spotlight from our database of local, minority-owned Pittsburgh businesses, which you can access by navigating to the Settings pop-up, or going to https://social-action-backend.herokuapp.com/. You are also able to toggle your preferences regarding the types of businesses you wish to be included in your spotlight. A new business will be spotlighted each time you open a new tab page. We hope this to be a non-intrusive, yet accessible way for Pittsburgh residents to get introduced to local, minority-owned businesses in order to spend their money in a potentially more purposeful way.
