Overview

Add a link to the page's most durable URL (permalink, persistent identifier, or canonical link) next to the page's title.

Persistent identifiers make stuff citable, but they are still too often hidden in metadata or below the fold. Permalink's Awakening fixes that. This extension adds a hyperlink to the page's most durable URL next to the page's title, whenever possible. Durable URLs include permalinks, persistent identifiers (a.k.a. PIDs, including but not limited to DOIs, PMIDs, and arXiv IDs) and canonical links. Permalink’s Awakening works on many journals and platforms, including but not limited to PubMed, arXiv, OJS, Wikipedia, Nature, Science, etc. This extension is open source.
