Overview
This extension provides controls for audio input processing
Applications that access your microphone normally apply processing to cancel echo and optimize for voice. But that same processing can be extremely detrimental to music. Some apps allow you to disable this processing. For web apps that do not - like the Zoom progressive web app (PWA), or Google Meet - this extension is your solution. To use the extension, install it, then run it from any web app you like. A dialog will be displayed that allows you to turn off echo cancellation and other voice optimizations. After making the settings you want in the dialog, you will need to either change input devices or disconnect and reconnect to the audio in orderr for your changes to take effect.

I may need a bit of assistance. I opened zoom and switched the input as instructed by a previous thread you wrote. However, the extension itself did not open any sort of a dialogue or screen of any kind with any option to disable the processing. All the extension allows me to do is turn it on or off. I can't pin it either. I'm also a little confused by one of your above explanations about PWA because, from what I can see, PWA is being used regardless of whether I launch zoom within a browse... I see from comments below that you figured something out, but also have other questions, and I'm not sure if the comment about figuring it out applies to the original review or to the subsequent comment. Anyhow, it works for me as described. If I am in a meeting, I run the extension and see nothing, but then I click the little minimize button and am back on the main Zoom window and the dialog is now open as shown in the screen shot.

Are you using this with the Zoom PWA? It appears they have changed the organization of their windows recently (still works the same when running directly from the browser tab for me; only thr PWA is affected). But it does still work, with an extra step needed. I find that in the current PWA, if I run Original Sound from the Zoom call itself, the dialog doesn't appear there, but back on the "main" window. So from within the call, I have to click the little icon at top right next to the "View" button to temporarily "minimize" the call window. This then displays main Zoom window, and there I can see the controls. I set them there, then re-maximize the call window.

Does this work on a Chromebook and the Zoom PWA app?

Yes, that's exactly what I developed it for - I was tired of needing to use the mobile or Windows app to get this feature! But I also made it compatible with Google Meet and other apps.
