Overview
Online Repository Assistant - Helps genealogical researchers use Ancestry, FamilySearch, and other online repositories.
ORA extracts record details from pages on Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, FindMyPast, and other sites used by genealogists. It provides a summary of important details in a panel on the repository page, and supports multiple methods for copying those details to your genealogy database program or other programs you use while doing research. These features will save you time and effort, and will reduce errors introduced by manually extracting source and citation details. ORA lets you assign a status icon to repository records so you know which records you have reviewed and which you have not. No data is shared with the publisher of ORA or with any third-party. The record status data and other data extracted by ORA are stored only on your PC. ORA is a subscription product. See: https://www.familyhistoryhosting.com/oc/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=58 for pricing and other purchase information. ORA requires a separately-installed Windows program. After you purchase a license, you will receive download instructions for the Windows program. For news about the most recent changes, see https://www.ora-extension.com/en/changelog.htm ORA is published by Family History Hosting, LLC, whose founder, John Cardinal, is a well-known genealogy software author who has written several popular genealogy programs.
