Objective: Reduce HCCs calls to providers that we have verified in network recently, that are not in network, that are not accepting new patients, or that have low patient ratings Why?: Approximately 25-30% of calls are to providers we have called numerous times. I believe the majority of these calls are a complete waste (tough to have hard metrics due to lack of good BI. Further, many anecdotes from providers saying they have been called numerous times). This is 5000+ phone calls per month. What is it: A chrome extension, called Joy Assist, that's first mission will be to make it clear to HCCs if a phone number is good to call, should not be called, or has not been called. How?: A very basic chrome extension that will inject a javascript snippet into the browser DOM after the page has loaded. Select Doctor Title on web-page, press key-combination: ALT+J. OR hover mouse cursor under a Doctor Title and press combination: ALT + mouse Left click The doctor title will be sent to our servers, and upon return, the browser will inject HTML/CSS into the Extension Popup The information injected will be retrieved from our provider decision center database.
