The official OMG! Ubuntu! extension
Stay up to date with the latest Ubuntu news, Linux app releases, and open source developments with the official omg! ubuntu Chrome extension!
This free browser add-on displays a list of the 12 most recent posts published on the omgubuntu.co.uk blog, complete with a thumbnail, in a discrete popover.
A system notification is shown when a new post is published, while the toolbar icon (if you pin it) shows how many unread posts are waiting for you.
Don't want notifications? You can turn them off in the settings page.
Unread items show an orange 'bookmark' icon next to them. You can mark an article as read (without reading it) by clicking the bookmark icon.
Alternatively, click the 'Mark All As Read' in at the bottom of the popover window.
To read an item just click its title to go straight to the correct article on the omg! ubuntu website.
