Indicated my laptop screen resolution was 1534x864 pixels (HD) Wrong. Its an FHD display.

It's an Acer chromebook 13" CB5-312T-K40U This "System" app has a tab named "Storage," but when you click it, the display is completely empty. Any hopes that it would show the size of the SSD solid state drive is dashed. Completely empty. I assume the problem is Chrome, not a deficiency on Dirk Einecke's part. In that case, I think, at least, the empty tab should provide an explanation for its emptiness. Feel free to educate us about why the OS can't display the total size of the ssd.
