this is a great calculator, but can it solve for variables? every time i put in a variable it just says "error undefined"

Very useful little application for the homework I have that saves time and valuable desk space in lectures. For a free application this is about as good as you can get! Supports a lot of advanced mathematics as well, giving a lot of control over what I need to do.

It's great! It really helped me while I was taking an assessment. Definitely better than the one that comes with the Chromebook.
