Overview
Tests the notification API
Rich notifications This sample shows how to use the "templated" notifications API, aka Rich Notifications, which allows an app to show feature-rich notifications in the system tray. This API is still in experimental state. WARNING: currently this API only works on ChromeOS and Windows. Linux and Mac should fail gracefully by displaying normal HTML5 notifications, but some info might not be presented on these platforms. See the source code at https://github.com/GoogleChrome/chrome-app-samples/tree/master/rich-notifications This version was built from git commit 1d6c354 https://github.com/GoogleChrome/chrome-app-samples/tree/1d6c354/rich-notifications

It doesn't work on my macOS. Why?

It's a nice little app :) It would be great to be able to set notification time out and have it custom across various apps. I use Slack desktop app on Ubuntu 14.04 and notifications disappear before I'm able to read them.
