fresh living colors though not very sharp.

Love the image, but the theme colors need some adjustment. The light blue tabs clash with the image colors, and the image itself makes it hard to read the black titles of frequently visited pages and Chrome apps. Maybe adjust the tab colors and the "New Tab" page text colors?
