Works well in Classic Calendar, but does not work in the new (Dec 2017) Google Calendar. ETA for this working in new calendar?

I experience problems every single time I try to start a meeting. I use Google Chrome and this application NEVER works right. I wouldn't use it, but my company wants us to do so.
