Overview

Dashboard and analysis tool for NMEA data streams from Serial, TCP/IP and File data sources.

NMEA Sleuth is an analysis tool for NMEA 0183 protocol data streams that's quick to configure and simple to use. It can accept input from both serial or TCP/IP sources and enables the received NMEA data to be logged to file as well as log files to be read and displayed. Log files can be saved as GPX (GPS Exchange) files. Both standard and proprietary NMEA sentence descriptions, sentence properties, property descriptions and values are displayed in an easy to read format. NMEASleuth also provides a dashboard screen that provides a visual summary of some of the more commonly used information such as: - Vessel Speed, heading and location - Wind Speed and Direction - Water Temperature and Depth - GPS fix quality data - Map displaying vessel position
