GPT-3 powered web translator

Lingua is a text-based, universal translator native to chrome. Right now, it supports Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese as well as the International Phonetic Alphabet. It requires you to have an OpenAI API key. If you do not have one, follow these instructions: 1. Sign up at https://beta.openai.com/signup - you may need a valid mobile number to verify your account 2. Visit your OpenAI key page https://beta.openai.com/account/api-keys 3. Create a new key by clicking "Create new secret key" 4. Copy this key into a note and keep it for later To add your key to the chrome extension: 1. Visit the chrome://extensions/ page and click on Lingua's "Details" button 2. Scroll down to and click "Extension Options" 3. Paste your key into the input box, and click save. Now you can use Lingua. To use the translator: 1. Highlight any text 2. Click the extension, and select the language of the text from the dropdown 3. Click the transcribe button This extension is ideal for linguists, language learners, or anyone interested in language translation.
