Library Manager automatically downloads your libraries and provides you with relevant and easily available information about them.
It automatically downloads the latest version of the following libraries so that you are never more than three clicks away from the latest version of your favorite libraries... even when you're offline!
★ jQuery UI
★ Ext JS
★ Angular JS
★ WebFont Loader
Furthermore, you'll have the possibility to copy a script tag (or the path to the library) to your clipboard in a single click; a link to the library's website is also provided, so that you easily can check what's new. You can choose to be notified about updates through badge notifications on the extension's icon, and/or through desktop notifications.
Library Manager uses the FileSystem API, a new feature of HTML5 which saves files to a local, protected and sandboxed directory only accessible by this extension (there's a link to it on the options page). It also uses CSS3 to create a modern, flat user interface, while still having high customizability.
============ PERMISSIONS ============
★ developers.google.com: Library Manager needs access to the site https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/devguide to scrape information about libraries.
★ *.ajax.googleapis.com: To download the new versions of libraries (through XMLHttpRequests), an access to Google's CDN is required.
★ unlimitedStorage: To be able to permanently store files on disk. This rarely takes more than 850 KB, but may vary slightly according to the size of updated libraries (nothing major, though. This has been designed to be very lightweight). The content of the FileSystem API can be viewed through the options page.
★ clipboardWrite: To be able to copy script tags to your clipboard. It cannot read the content of your clipboard, though.
