I wanted to take a moment to thank you for considering me to be your personal trainer. I know you have a vast group of exceptionally talented people to choose from and it means a great deal knowing that you would like to work with me. I cannot tell you how excited I am to share one of my greatest passions with you!
A little about myself: As a military spouse, there are often times of stress and chaos. We know that at any time our loved ones could be called to leave and that every moment with them is precious. My experience as a military wife is what inspired me to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. Exercise is not only an excellent way to alleviate stress, but it brings people together and creates a bond like no other. Having spent over three years at Ft. Bliss in Texas, I was fortunate to meet hundreds of amazing women from all walks of life, both in and out of uniform. From leading a "mommy and me" style boot camp to helping prep soldiers for Army Physical Fitness Tests and Air Assault School, I learned to adapt my coaching style to meet each client's individual needs. As different and unique each client was, they all had one thing in common: They were all strong and beautiful women, empowered through health and fitness! I can honestly say that I have been inspired by each and every person that has walked through my door. It has been such an honor to serve each and every one of them.
Notoriously, women are multitaskers. We are so good at piling on the work and whisking through the day without stopping long enough to finish our first cup of coffee. Meetings get scheduled, lunches get packed, and errands by the dozen are run daily. We keep our lives and everyone else around us running like a well-oiled machine! But at the end of the day, can you name one thing you did to care for yourself? As a wife, new mother, and small business owner, I completely understand how difficult it can be to find time for exercise. However, on the days I tell myself, "I just can't" it is when I really need it the most. Fitness is so much more than just looking good or fitting a certain size. It is about that feeling you get after hitting a huge lift or running faster than you ever have before. It's about the confidence you can't help but have in every other aspect of your life because you know how hard you work to feel the way you do! Fitness is about taking care of yourself just as well as you care for everyone else around you. Most importantly, it is about showing your body the love and attention it deserves so that you can enjoy your life and every adventure that comes your way to the best of your ability.
One of my favorite aspects of exercise is that ANYONE can do it ANYWHERE. Whether you are younger, older, pregnant, or postpartum, your body can and will benefit from an active lifestyle. My belief is that exercise should never feel like a chore. Yes, it will be challenging. But you should always be looking forward to that challenge with the confidence to overcome it. Together, we will turn your obstacles into accomplishments. We will push past your fears and apprehensions, and create your stronger, healthier future.
