A Chrome app which creates a system wide (tor)socks proxy at port 9999 enabling access to Tor network.[ earlier titled KroTor ] For Instructions click help button. Notes: 1. This app was earlier known as KroTor, the name was changed to comply with Tor trademark rules. 2. The official codebase of tor is running in this app, this is port of Tor to NaCl platform on Chrome browser. 3. To know more about Tor visit https://www.torproject.org. 4. This app is open sourced, for details visit https://deepankar.io/kronymous 5. This app is not a substitute for Tor Browser Bundle. Changelog: v0.2.9 Kronymous started working in chrome 58, updated the GUI to reflect that. v0.2.7 - v0.2.8<br/> Added messages saying kronymous was not supported on chrome 55 and above. v 0.2.6 Updated tor to latest version 0.2.8.9 Kronymous now targets pnacl. These two steps should weed out most of errors but all issues may not be resolved. Future version will handle remaining errors. Minor UI fixes v 0.2.2 - v 0.2.5 Internal test versions. v 0.2.1 Fixed big related to exitnode, now setting exitnode should work fine. v 0.2.0 Changed name from krotor to kronymous to comply with tor trademark rules. v 0.1.9 Fixed argv parsing bug. v 0.1.8 Added functionality to specify advance settings such as exitnode, proxy authentication etc. Recompiled tor binary with newer toolchain.

used to work perfectly now it doesnt work at all. i checked of i hae some sort of firewall that prevented something but no. it just doesnt work anymore

Utter shite. But then again, why would google allow anonymous browsing on a chrombook? How would they mine our data if we all started refusing to play by their rules.
