MathPapa is a step-by-step calculator to help algebra students interactively learn math. It can be used either as a teaching aid or to help students practice concepts on their own. Enter a math expression to MathPapa, and MathPapa will return a step-by-step explanation with two goals: (1) Explain clearly what the expression means (2) Show how to evaluate the expression With MathPapa, students can learn new concepts by experimenting with different examples. MathPapa supports exponents, fractions, polynomials, graphing, and evaluating algebraic expressions.

I use this MathPapa web version and had no idea it had a chrome version! It's a really neat app that can help with most Algebraic equations (used in Algebra I and II). It shows you how to solve the equation but not always the steps to take in order to get from one solution set to another For example, f(x) or 0=-3x^2-15x-18 I always learnt to just remove the negative in front of the lead coefficient and change all the other signs on both sides of the equation: (-)0=(–)3x^2-15x-18; 0=3x^2+1...
