A beta-test chrome extension for Kelvin
Kelvin, in the physical world, is a measure of temperature and light, a scale unique in its absence of negatives. It’s a way to measure the universe with a range of positive marks. At Kelvin, we’re creating a way to do this on the Internet. We’ve built a simple, user-determined, user-moderated way for everyone to measure, give feedback, discuss and add context to the Internet.
Think websites should be reviewed, just like anything else? Now, you can leave a review on top of any site, making browsing the Internet a better experience for everyone. Perhaps you like to write tutorials. You can share a how-to post directly on top of the relevant site; now any Kelviner who visits that site can learn from you! If you’re always on the lookout for the next big thing? Kelvin allows you to rate, share and discover those fresh finds of the day. Browsing a site and have a question? Kelvin allows you to ask that question and learn the answer from a fellow Kelviner directly on the site that got the questions flowing. Finally, the conversation and the content are in the same place, and fellow Kelviners can moderate and add context to the discussion, whatever form it may take!
We’re building a user-determined, user-moderated conversation as large as the internet, on top of the internet, so have fun, show love, have opinions - and let us know how you like it!
