Explore a career with the Foothills School Division
Foothills School Division serves the learning needs of more than 8,000 students in preschool through grade 12, and employs over 800 teachers and support staff. Located on the City of Calgary’s southern border within the Municipal District of Foothills, the Division encompasses the Towns of Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond and Turner Valley as well as the communities served by our Blackie, Cayley, Heritage Heights (DeWinton), Longview, Millarville and Red Deer Lake (south Calgary) schools.
Working in Foothills School Division is about being a part of a community dedicated to public education. It's about people committed to student and staff learning as reflected in our Mission Statement: Each learner, entrusted to our care, has unique gifts and abilities. It is our mission to find out what these are... Explore them... Develop them... Celebrate them!
It's also about nurturing students through engaging learning practices to help them achieve their personal best. We are proud of our "Foothills Family", a culture distinguished by a real sense of community, where we support one another and celebrate each other's successes.
