Use emails, phone numbers or Twitter usernames instead of crypto wallet addresses.
IDriss drastically simplifies the way you send or receive crypto.
IDriss is an open-source extension that lets you use your email, phone number or @Twitter name instead of the long and user-unfriendly wallet addresses.
To use the extension:
Go to www.idriss.xyz and link your email, phone number or @Twitter name to your wallet address.
Use the IDriss extension on your favorite exchange, wallet, or on one of our ever-expanding list of additional websites to claim your POAP or look up an address on etherscan.io!
When you are in a wallet or an exchange, IDriss extension listens to your inputs in fields that ask for the recipient wallet address. When you type an email, phone number or @Twitter name that has been linked with IDriss, the extension generates a dropdown menu with all corresponding wallet addresses. When you click on a result, it is inserted into the input field and copied to your clipboard.
Additionally, you can always open the IDriss extension from the “Extensions” menu in your browser. It enables you the same functionality as described above, but inside the IDriss extension window.
Because the extension adds functionality to the normal browser context, it requires the permission to read and write on any website.
