To extend a remote desktop to an external monitor, install the Horizon Client Helper extension from the Chrome Web Store and enable Unified Desktop Mode on your Chromebook.

A Chrome administrator can configure a default Horizon Connection Server URL on enrolled Chromebooks. To use, the administrator installs the Horizon Client and the Horizon Client Helper extension through Chrome device management. Both are in the Chrome Web Store.
