Hide blue checks and/or tweets with blue checks on Twitter
This simple extension allows you to modify Twitter.com in two ways:
1. Hide blue check icons wherever they may appear.
2. Hide tweets from people with blue checks (everywhere or just on the "For you" tab).
Q: Why hide blue checks?
A: They are distracting and no longer a signal of importance.
Q: Why hide tweets with blue checks?
A: The Twitter algorithm boosts the visibility of tweets from authors with blue checks. The result: among the tweets that Twitter serves you, the tweets with blue checks are probably less good than the tweets without.
Note: if you choose to hide tweets with blue checks on the "For you" tab, Twitter will frequently be fetching more tweets as you scroll down because Twitter will serve mostly tweets with blue checks on each fetch.
