Group rows and columns (like in Excel) by typing "<hide>" in the desired first row or column of a Google Sheet.
Group rows and columns -- similar to functionality in Excel.

Simplify creation spreadsheets for different audiences by hiding detail.

How to use:
- Type "<hide>" in the first column of the desired row(s) to group.
- Type "<hide>" in the first row of the desired column(s) to group.
- Go to the menu: Add-ons -> Group Rows & Columns -> Group Rows (or Group Columns)

For more advanced groupings use the "Group Layer2 Rows" and type "<hide>" in the second column.
