The Fuze on Chrome™ extension lets you create meetings from your Google Calendar™ in a single-click
The Fuze Chrome Extension enables you to schedule Fuze meetings directly from your Google Calendar. All you have to do is "Create" a Google Calendar meeting, and in the detail view click the "Make it a Fuze Meeting" blue link. This will automatically convert the meeting invite to include Fuze meeting details, which will be sent to whomever you invite to the calendar event in Google. Any meetings you set up in Google Calendar will also be displayed in your meetings list view within the Fuze app.
How to Get Started:
Once the app is installed, you will get a small notification box in the top right hand side area of your browser notifying you that it has successfully installed. Next, go to Google Calendar, and click the orange "create" button to create a new meeting. You will notice that there is a new line in that view called "Fuze", with blue hyperlink text that reads "Make it a Fuze Meeting". The first time you click that link, you will be prompted to log in to Fuze. (Use your Fuze login here). Once logged in, you will see that your Google Calendar event is now a Fuze Meeting. It will include meeting information in the Meeting Details view - you can also select which type of meeting you'd like for this to be via a dropdown in the "Fuze" row. You can select whether you want it to be an Open, Private, or Webinar type meeting from there. Once you've entered the guests you want to invite (on the right hand side in Google calendar, as you normally would), you can then click save and Google will notify your guests via email. (They will see the Fuze meeting details in the description area).
- Any updates from your Fuze meeting view will NOT update in Google Calendar. Only updates from Google Calendar will be reflected in your Fuze app.
- Meeting preferences set in Fuze will not be reflected in your Google Calendar invites, you will have to edit the description manually, and configure the meeting once it starts.
- Recurring meetings in Google Calendar will all have meeting invite links. We will only send one single instance of the meeting to your Fuze Meeting list view, however. (Every meeting and its correct date will not be displayed).
