Search for Bookmarks by Folder Name, and save Sessions in Bookmark Folders
With its searchable folder-centric approach, Folderwise Bookmarks rewards you for your well-maintained hierarchy of Bookmarks!
Search for Folders by Name or by Path; expand the panel to see the Bookmarks.
Open multiple bookmarks: 1 click will open a bookmark in a background tab, but the Popup stays open. A 2nd click on that bookmark will close the Popup and activate the tab, or you can open more bookmarks instead.
There are also options to open every bookmark in a folder, into the current window or a new one.
To save a browser Session, such as tabs for a research project, right-click the toolbar icon. The Session will be saved in a bookmark folder, so it can be viewed easily in the Popup and the tabs can be reopened from there. Click the icon in the top-right to view saved Sessions.
You can save
⋆ The current window
⋆ All windows, in separate folders
⋆ All windows, combined in a single folder
Once a Session has been saved it will be opened automatically in the Bookmark Manager, so you can edit folder names and arrange the bookmarks as you please.
The Options page (in the right-click menu again) lets you change the name of the Saved Sessions folder and include pinned tabs, incognito tabs etc. in saved Sessions.
⚠ To use the Sessions feature, you will be required to grant a new permission to the extension: "Read your browsing history". This permission will be used only to access the addresses of your open tabs, specifically to create bookmarks for the saved Session.
