Fixes the Error 414 - Request too large to process error in Google Calendar.
This fixes the following error in Google Calendar when trying to create an event from a Gmail email:
"414. That’s an error.
The requested URL /ServiceLogin... is too large to process. That’s all we know."
There's actually two problems that this solves:
- Gmail creates really long URLs that Google Calendar can't handle
- Even with short messages, Gmail sometimes messes up the URL parameters and Google Calendar won't read them
Instead of doing sketchy link modification in Gmail, this uses the Chrome webRequest API to modify this request before it's sent by the browser. More information on how this works here:
This extension requires access to event creation requests going to Google Calendar. No other requests are accessible to the extension, and your browsing history is NOT recorded.
