Embark replaces Chrome's default new tab page with a pared back design and beautiful photography allowing you to focus on what matters. There's a handful of features but each one is highly customisable through the options page: - 60+ inspirational photographs - A 12 or 24 hour clock - The date Embark loads blazingly fast and uses almost zero resources.

I use this extension for many years and this page was temporary disabled by Google for few months. The extension has been no longer updated for years and I create an alternative with the Tabliss extension in case of this extension doesn't work in a future Chrome version. This extension is ideal for everyone leaving their PC on idle as the images are awesome and the centered clock is very useful. Also, removing the top visited sites is a big bonus for me.
