elementalMARKS - Navigation model based bookmarking tool with auto-delete capability
ElementalMARKS is our beta version of bookmarks revisited. We're excited to get your input!
What's it mean to be elementalMARKS? Well a new way of creating and managing bookmarks for starters.
Don't forget to download the elementalMARKS so that you can create bookmarks.
ElementalMARKS with its patent pending technology lets you attach model based data to your bookmarks.
What's a model you ask? Examples of models are everywhere and can include People, Places, Recipes, and Articles. Models are physical and abstract things we want to tag our bookmarks with. But instead of a collection of single word tags you mark your link with a concept. You can save both page data or data that you create. So while looking for that perfect apartment you can tag your link with am Apartment model to store relevent information like square feet, rent per month, and commute time. Best of all its just like filling out form data. You just set what properties you want to save and off you go!
Didn't find the model you want? Do our models not capture the data you really need? Good news! ElementalMARKS is built on a system that is extensible so you can create your own custom models.
So what do you get by using our service? Search, Search, and More Search. Ever forget which of your bookmarks contained some random bit of data. Did you forget which apartment had the shortest commute? Do you curate content containing hundreds or thousands of bookmarks? It's kind of hard to pack everything you need know about a page in just a little title or some notes. By using elementalMARKS you can build bookmark lists with a bazillion links and still find exactly what you want. Easily. Because your models can include data not included in page content you can keep track of things not in the page. Try that with 1.0 technology.
Interested in a little bit of automated house cleaning? Who isn't. With elementalMARKS now you can set your bookmarks to be automatically deleted either by a date or after a window of days since your last access. Just configure your preferred expiration setting and set that your bookmark can expire. We take care of the rest.
Find this perhaps a little intimidating? Don't be. We built the system from the ground up to be just as easy as your existing bookmarking tools, but open enough to let you express yourself.
So give us an install and let us know what you think. Need something extra let us know.
