Easiread optimizes Wikipedia for the visually impaired
One in ten of the world population is dyslexic. They struggle to understand the meanings of what they read, no matter if it’s from a book or on a computer screen. The Easiread project aims to make reading easy for everyone.
With our free Google Chrome extension, you can easily remove visual distractions on webpages. You can also select 1 of the 3 preset modes: to enhance letter recognition; improve reading flow; and prevent visual stress and headaches. You may further adjust the font size, spacing and background colour to suit your needs. Turn on the tracker mode to highlight line by line, so you would no longer skip lines easily. You may even save your customised settings for future use and print out the content for offline reading.
