Overview

Turns off Chrome's downloads shelf.

Useful for macOS users who like Safari's default behaviour. A macOS-only version is also available, for users of Chrome Sync across multiple operating systems: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/download-shelf-disabler-f/lhjlgfpiopfmjbhnpcmfdeepikdpankp Works by making a single call to the chrome.downloads.setShelfEnabled API. Doesn't collect any data, run anything in the background or consume memory.
