A simple extension that adds a "close download tray" keyboard shortcut to Chrome, along with an option to prevent the tray from appearing in the first place.

1* to make potential users move on to their next such search result. Reason: With Chrome v116.0.5845.180 the complete suppression of the download tray popup does not work. I saved an image - and that one image was then shown as the download popup menu. Saved another one - now I had a two image download popup menu.
