Overview

Logs your browsing history to DiMe

This is the Chrome extension for the Digital Me (DiMe) personal footprint tracking system. It collects the webpages you visit and store the in the DiMe personal data store. You need to install the DiMe server separately (reknow.fi/dime), or use a trusted third party provider. I you run it yourself it runs locally in your own computer, and thus your tracked data safe on your own machine. DiMe is part of the Revolution of Knowledge Work (Re:Know) research project, which is a large strategic opening funded by Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation. The project is conducted at the University of Helsinki, Aalto University and Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
